Hosts: Ski Broncs Water Ski Show Team.
Tournament highlight: "We started off rough because of a couple injuries, but the kids, as young as they are, persevered and they had a great show given the water conditions," said Dave Rezin, co-show director with Matt Klay.
Quote of the day: "We are essentially a barefooting team. We've got five barefoot acts in our show. It was rough to execute our acts because of the rough and high water plus swift current, Rezin said.
Mad City had a real good show. The thing they have going for them is they ski on rough water every day (at their show site in Law Park on Lake Monona in Madison). They have almost no barefooting in their show, so they were able to adapt to the conditions better than what we were, he added.
Just a little bit of wind can pick up white caps. Teams skiing in the late morning and early afternoon had to deal with white caps and extremely rough water. We needed as calm of water as possible. That's the reason we skied first Saturday," Rezin said.
