More daytime burglaries investigated

ROCK COUNTY-Sheriff's detectives are investigating at least three more daytime burglaries in rural Rock County.

Last week, sheriff's departments in Rock and Walworth counties reported investigating 34 burglaries that investigators thought were related because of their locations, times of the crimes methods of illegal entry and items stolen.

Since then, a burglary on North Woodbury Lane in Janesville Township was reported Thursday. Electronic equipment valued at $3,114 was reported taken between 12:30 and 3:15 p.m.

Someone forced entry to a home North Fitzsimmons Road in Janesville Township between 2:50 and 3:25 p.m. Thursday. Nothing was thought missing, but an estimated $300 damage was reported.

A burglary thought to have occurred between 1 and 5:06 p.m. Wednesday was reported on East Minkey Road. The mailing address was Darien, but the burglary occurred in Rock County. Electronic equipment valued at $975 was reported stolen.
