GENOA CITY-The following candidates have filed nomination papers to take part in their respective elections in Genoa City this April.
-- Village president: Barry Goad, 429 Freeman St., is unopposed for re-election.
-- Village board: Bill Antti, 219 Walworth St.; and Kevin Polheber, 409 Main St., are running for re-election. The village president will need to appoint someone to fill the third open seat. Incumbent Marc Harren is not running for re-election.
-- Municipal judge: Robert Klabunde, 170 S. Carter St., Genoa City, is running for re-election unopposed.
