SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - Sometimes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. A Sheboygan man and his 20-year-old daughter have both been arrested for drunken driving after a minor crash at a grocery store parking lot.
Police said they were called to the grocery store after witnesses reported seeing the 64-year-old man's car hit a parked car.
The man went into the store's liquor department and his daughter took the wheel and drove around the parking lot, they said.
Police said when they stopped the car, they found two children, ages 6 and 4, inside.
The man and his daughter were both arrested for felony driving while intoxicated with a child under 16 in the vehicle.
The arrest was the man's fourth for such an offense and his daughter's first. He was taken to jail while she was booked and released.
