CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. - Jack Allen Falkner didn't stop his string of sevens when he was born July 7, 2007, which some people considered the luckiest day of the century because of the three sevens involved in the date.

The son of Dan and Leslie Falkner of Menomonie then weighed in Saturday at 7 pounds and 7 ounces at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

"He's doing very well," said his father, who works as a diesel technician at Eau Claire Machine and Volvo.

The baby's 3-year-old sister, Allison, also gave her nod of approval.

"She thinks he's pretty cute and pretty neat," Dan Falkner said.

Meanwhile, the maximum number of Wisconsin Lottery players allowed chose the numbers 7-7-7 for the Daily Pick 3 game and 7-7-7-7 for the Daily Pick 4 game Saturday. But the winning numbers turned out to be 1-1-7 for Pick 3 and 2-4-9-4 for Pick 4.

Lottery officials said that, whenever the volume of wagers on a specific number combination reached $3 million in potential payment for those games as they did Saturday, sales of that combination are suspended.
